I started my account on 3-18 2004 I canceled 4-2-04 and I paid 21.60 on 3-19-04 I figured we were done, then you guys gave me 2 credits aon 4-20 and took 3 withdrawals from my account on the same day for 21.65 WHY? you have all my movies I ordered, I am notpaying 65.00 for 3 weeks of rentals something is wrong, please look at my account, Michelle Martinez

i live 20 miles from your distribution center in Coppell. You guys use to ship movies promptly-not anymore! I have had friends who have similar experiences. They've cancelled. Im considering the same. I considering going back to Blockbuster. Also, customer service? I guess if you could actually get in touch with someone.

I signed up for netflix 2 week free trial. Instead of billing me at the end of the trial, they billed me on the same day... 6 TIMES! At $24.20 a pop, it cost me $145 and overdrew my account. My bank wouldn't release any funds to me so I called netflix. They said they fax something to my bank and have the carges removed that day or the next. That was a week ago and I still have all the charges as "(pending)" which sucks because it freezes the money in your account. I'm sure I would have thought twice about signing up if I knew how crappy their service would be (while I've been typing this message, I've been on hold with them). Needless to say, I'll never use netflix again and suggest the same to all of you.

I moved and tried to change my billing address. Your online account servicing page kept rejecting my address claiming the street address was invalid for that zip code. I called several times to straighten it out. Each time I waited several minutes for a customer service representative. Since I can't get movies billed to my address, I have not option but to cancel. Too bad. You've lost a loyal customer through your lousy customer service practices. Goodbye and good riddance.

Your web-site won't let me cancel my membership. Your customer service puts me on hold FOREVER. Not a single e-mail address works for contacting your company. I want to CANCEL!!!!! But you don't let me and keep taking my money. My next step is BBB and then to the courts. Did I mention I am a lawyer??? How does a class action sound???

I was also charged right away for the 2 week "free trial." You can't find a customer service number anywhere on the site. I'm so sick of internet companies like Netflix and Ebay, who go out of their way to avoid customer service.

ive been a member of netflix for one moth or more and the only problem i had was at the beginning when i was charged 23.80 4x on the same day i applied for membership. it was promptly taken care of thru customer service.i get my movies the next day because they ship from austin and thats where i live.its easy and quick.i hope to GOD that i dont experience the same crap all of you have.except i still havent received my free $50 gift card from bath and body works for joining which kinda sucks but not much since im a movie junkie and i dont have to leave home to score!!!!!!

I entered Netflix club in early june and cancelled immediately after finding out that this was only a rental club. So please take the charges off of my account or I will have to consult with higher authority and take legal action. I have been charged for three months of which I have not been a member and have not rented any movies. Please respond asap.

I agree that Netflix has horrible customer service. Every time I have made a comment or had a a suguestion, I just get a form letter email back.
When I do call the 800 number which is very hard to find,
I end up waiting for over 5 minutes every time.
If they did not have such a great service, and selection, I would have quit, long ago.

Well the 800 number is always busy when I call. They charged me twice for the month of September which of course caused an overdraft fee. The bank says it's not their problem and that I should call Netflix. Apparently I'm in for a real treat.

Netflix sucks!!! First I cancel my service the first of September which they list as on 8th and they had the nerve to charge my account on the 9th of Sept, why is this??? Then the stupid movies takes 3-4 business day to come, hell blockbuster is up the damn street...who needs Netflix. I am contesting these charges!!!

It's nice to have dvds at your reach without leaving the house. but that's the problem i never leave the house.. anyway they owe me 25 bucks cause i cancelled my account on the day it expired. and they still charged me . you suck !!!!! john pereira

OMG!!! Do you guys really think you're talking to Netflix? LOL! Hey, I had to contact them...but guess what, I would suggest that you guys put some time aside because I had to wait a long time before talking to a rep. Had a billing problem and they were able to help me (I know you can email them...but I rather talk to a human).

So call them...don't post here...this is only a blog, not Netflix.com.

Worst cutomer service ever!!!! Each time I call, i spend an hour waiting for one rep to answer!!! the webpage doesn;t even allow us to update our own personal information! i would highly discourage anybody trying netflix.

From the intelligence level I see displayed in most of these posts I bet the idiots who got charged multiple times "clicked the button" multiple times. DUH it says right on the page not to do that or you will get charged multiple times. I have had netflix for going on 2.5 years on the 5 out plan and 30 or so of my friends have had it for the same length of time if not longer and none of us has EVER had a poblem with them EVER. My shipping times have become longer than next day but I have had it so long I rent mostly obscure movies that probably do not come from my distro center. People you need to wake up!! A lot of the problems I read about here sound like DSO (Dumb Shit Operator) errors to me. OH and the BBB they don't do a damned thing. All they do is send a letter to the company LOL. I would think an attorney would know that.

I do not desire your service and am tired of your sales popping up on my screen ALL the time. I use my service mostly for medical, as my boyfriend is dying of cancer. Please stop the annoying pop-ups. All businesses have to have some personal realization. NETFLIX HAS A GREAT WORKING CUSTOMER SERVICE # and it is listed above. AGAIN, IT IS: (1800)279-5688. What is unclear though, is why did i have to go to THIS PAGE to find it, instead of finding it on their website. U , of course, got to wait some time, but representatives usually credit back easely, (if thats the reason you want to call).
So good luck with your complains :)
But, anyway, i wouldnt recommend it.

They have a customer service number on their website, go to the "how it works" page. It's there, plain as day.

We have the service for quiet few months (at least 6 or 7 )but the main reason of my complaint is why they take forever to send you the movies. The first 2 months we used to received at least 9 or more movies a week. then they went down to 6 a week but I guess for the price we paid still cheaper than BlockBuster. OH and we send the movies the next day after we received them. Think twice before starting your membership cause can be a hell months.........

well i called but i called at 9:05am eastern which is 6am pacific which is the time they open the phone lines. and waited less than a minute
