Steven tipped me off that the Netflix settlement has an entry on Snopes.com. Snopes is a great place to research urban legends and rumors (or to send the people that stil believe that Bill Gates will send you money for forwarding an e-mail).
When Netflix started sending the e-mails out, several people wrote to ask if this was a hoax so it makes sense that they would add it.
Interesting that I opted in for this, and all of a sudden movies take an extra day to be sent... Hmmmm..... I smell another class action ;-)

I told you that they'd throttle everyone who accepted this BS settlement. Meanwhile, they go on with business as usual. What would you expect but more of the same? They refuse to change. They refuse to be up-front about the limits. They want to go on lying to people, with empty hype of "unlimited DVDs", "1-day shipping", and "same-day returns." Opt out, before it's too late. Don't accept this lame settlement or any other settlement. We don't need a settlement. We need a new system.
