Have you ever wanted to download your Netflix movie ratings? Science Addition has written some scripts to retrieve your personal ratings (it's pretty technical and requires PERL and Python).

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to programming. Has anyone else tried to download everything required to retrieve all their ratings data? If so, were you successful?

Well, I wrote the scripts and have been able to retrieve my data successfully; and since the script is based on John Resigg's perl module (http://ejohn.org), I guess he was able to as well. I would like to make the scripts more user friendly in the future for people without programming know-how. Other than that, if you have any trouble with the script, let me know in the comments section of my blog.
