Since Netflix lost movie critic and blogger James Rocchi when he left Netflix for Cinematical and other gigs, I've been wondering if any other Netflix employees would start blogging (we're still waiting for the Reed Hastings blog).
It looks like Netflix hired author and blogger Michael Rubin at Sundance, where he was promoting his book about George Lucas and the interesting history behind his unusual career, Droidmaker: George Lucas and the Digital Revolution.
Rubin has several blogs, and lists Netflix as his employer. A quick Google search for his name turned up this bio, where he's listed as the director of community experiences for Netflix.
His blogs include Droidmaker Tour and Blogflix, and the site for his book is Droidmaker.com.
If we could only get him to blog about what it's like to work at Netflix...
Thanks for the heads up - I didn't know about this book. I reserved a copy online from my local library. :)

George Lucas went over to the Dark side long ago, ruining all his old movies with digital alteration - THX 1138, American Graffiti, SW 4-6, etc. The new prequels show that he has ZERO talent as a writer or director. All his best work is behind him and he has buried it under layers of garbage. The best Star Wars, Empire, is the one Lucas had the least to do with. That's no coincidence. Lucas is a hack who needs to be knocked down a few notches.

Shill, you fargin' dolt. Of course Lucas is a sucky director and his best work is behind him. I think the point is that for better or worse he is responsible for a heaping pile of digital media, and i'm only looking at this book's back cover.
And while you're spouting off about things of which you know very little, what have you ever done for anyone? Lucas dreamed up Pixar and Avid and probably a few other things. Stick to ribbing Netflix, you pompous cow.

You'll never find a person who works for Netflix writing about it. They have to sign NDAs before they even get a job there.

I can just only imagine about such good skills in thesis titles referring to this post composing. We unremarkably use the help of the professional thesis writing service. In such case that fits me perfectly.
