SeventyMM Founded by Ex-Microsoft Employee
John Cook on his Venture blog discovered that India's answer to Netflix, SeventyMM, was founded by ex-Microsoft employee Raghav Kher.
He was the former Microsoft manager who created Redmond-based Imandi.com, a heavily-funded Internet startup which morphed into Rendition Networks during the dot com bust. In 2004, Rendition was sold to Opsware in a deal valued at $33 million. At that time, I lost track of the entrepreneur.
