Hate.
Okay, why?
1) Too cutesy.
2) Which is counter to their brand.
3) By no means do I love all of the recommendations
4) Its not just top recommended movies. Its the whole recommendation engine, so is a bad label.

"Fugly" gets my vote.
How do they know I'll "heart" them? Most of their recommendations are silly anyway. Rent 1 ovie for the kids and for weeks, all I get are recommendations for animation, including anime!

I don't like it either. They should save this one for February or something.

YUCK!
Ditto to what shoobe01 said...

I'm inclined to vote against the new name too--what's wrong with "Recommendations" ? It really doesn't fit with the rest of the site. Save it for Valentine's day.

Heart is stupid...

It does seem a bit presumptious.

Leave the heart and use pink as the background instead of red. No use just going half way.

I've never loved any of the things that they recommended. I rarely like "live" music, but they recommend lots of live DVDs. I've heard very little live music that I liked. Leonard Cohen and Nirvana maybe, but most bands suck live. They tell me I'll like things based on the flimsiest of patterns. I'm convinced the people who design their recommendations must be on crack. "Past results are no indication of future performance."

I think the reason they've changed the text was to shorten the tab width, to make some room in case they decide to add some more tabs up top.
Watch that space...

I'm surprised to hear that a lot of people haven't had any luck with Netflix's recommendations. I have really enjoyed many of the movies they have recommended, and most of those are movies I never would have tried (or even heard of) without Netflix. The recommendation section is one of the reasons I stay with Netflix.
But yeah, lose the heart. This isn't 1973.

Fugly. Recommendations are usually movies I've already seen. I still want to know how it works, because it doesn't seem very accurate.

I also vote FUGLY. Don't presume to tell me what I will and no one gets hurt, okay?
The word "recommendations" is will do just fine, thank you.
