Old Timer Too

Given the current lack of ethics on the part of Blockbuster, I wouldn't trust them to deliver content under any circumstances. That statement, by the way, has to do with them not renewing accounts and then failing to ship discs during the last two weeks of the account month. It is at least unethical, if not criminally fraudulent, since the renter has done nothing to affect the account. Coercion is also an illegal activity.

Anyway, my disgust with Blockbuster has reached the point where even if I was interested in the service, I wouldn't use it.

Now if they were not pulling their stunts with the accounts right now, I'd applaud their quick action to promote the newest member of the Blockbuster team.

eh, see- now that's useless until they actually integrate the movies into the blockbuster website. just a link there won't generate too much more business, unless there's a "Watch this online now" link under any titles that happen to be in the movie link library.

equally as useless are their purchase prices. You can own a download and watch as many times as you want! For only $19.99! Which is NOT A DEAL! WOOHOO! Why would I buy a movie download at $19.99 that only plays on my computer, when i could buy the same movie for $12 at walmart, and it comes with a case and can play not only in my computer, but in my dvd player and my friend's dvd player.

Too little too late!
