Netflix & New Line Pick Up Ricki Lake Birthing Documentary
Hollywood Reporter: Netflix's Red Envelope Entertainment and New Line will distribute The Business of Being Born, Ricki Lake's controversial documentary about giving birth.
"When Abby and I set out to make this film, our goal was to help inform as many women as possible about the full range of choices they have," said Lake. "The one-two punch of Netflix and New Line combined with a theatrical release in places like New York and LA, where women's choices are ironically more limited statistically, will help us achieve this goal in the most meaningful way possible."
Thanks to Eazyguy for sending this in.

Oh my gawd! Good thing for me that I have the 2 out program so I don't have to decide between Ricki Lake's Birthing process or the Tony Bennett documentary. Red Envelope Entertainment's catalog is poppin'.

Don't get your panties in a bunch eddy... Hollywood will keep making brainless frat boy junk movies to satisfy your needs, while quality indie content from distributors like red envelope can appeal to those who need more than college daze content.

Hmm well since you don't sign your posts, I'll just nickname you Hermaphrodite.

So Herma, I would never be sarcastic about a creative genius like Ricki Lake and a musical genius like Tony Bennett. I just can't wait to watch the ingenuity of these two masterminds.
