The Office Crew Manning the Picket Lines
While I would hardly consider myself a professional writer, I agree with the Writers Guild and the reasons for the strike. Here's a report from the front lines, where The Office actors and writers explain why they are on strike.
While we're on the subject of writers, Netflix should list the writers for movies and TV shows (I believe that they're as important as the director and actors).

Completely 100% agree that Netflix is LONG OVERDUE in listing the writers -- and full cast/crew -- of all the movies on their site! It just goes to show that Netflix truly doesn't respect filmmakers, because they ignore all credits except the few main stars & the director. Absolutely ridiculous. What in the world do they do all day long at the Netflix Headquarters? Blockbuster Video lists the FULL CAST & CREW for ALL of their movies online!

Rather than listing cast and crew information that's already available elsewhere, wouldn't it be simpler for Netflix to link to the IMDB entry for the movie? Why duplicate information that's just a mouse click away?

If I were a writer walking a picket line, I would be carrying a totally blank sign. If anyone asked me about it I would say, "I'm on strike--I'm not writing anything--not even a sign!"
Or maybe I'd have pictures on it--Like a cigar-smoking greedy studio exec holding a wad of cash.
