New Releases for March 25th, 2008
Click here for the full list of new releases this week (132).
Interesting movies include The Kite Runner, The Mist, Office Tigers, Day Break: Season 1, Painkiller Jane: Season 1, Noble House, Black Legion, PU-239, Fingerprints, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Tripping the Rift: The Movie, and Upright Citizens Brigade: ASSSSCAT.

The Mist and Wristcutters: A Love Story are the ony good things coming out this week. Thankfully I sent back two movies on Saturday so I could get them! Did anyone see Ebert (my throat's sore) and Roeper this weekend and what films they said were good? I was drunk and not paying attention. If no one knows I'll check it out when they upload it to their site, thanks.

Is Netflix totally down for anyone else? It's gives me a plain html page with "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable" on it.

Yep, down here as well. Tried to get in as they sent me an email saying they received my movie back - trouble is, I never received it!
No I've lost a rental and can't get in to put it back at the top of my queue before they send the next disc in the series!

Yep, they are down again. Their technical people are teh suck. This happens much more frequently than it ever should, especially for a business that is run via the innertubes. Why they don't have any built-in redundancies has always amazed me. I think the correct answer is that they really couldn't care less. Just run it on the cheap and pocket the difference.

Does anyone know what's the longest netflix has been down in the past?
I've been with Netflix for six years and the past two months have been the worst I've ever experienced. That is primarily due to the fact that I watch blu ray now, but still, it's been HORRIBLE.

The new DVD for David Lynch's LOST HIGHWAY is also out today!
Digital remaster, 2.35:1 Aspect ratio. Not to be confused with the really bad pan-scan version that made it onto NetFlix

I agree with Plus for the most part. This seems to be a weak week for new releases. One other I'm quite excited about is The Kite Runner. I've heard amazing things about this.

I noticed the documentary "Office Tigers" was immediately available on Watch Instantly as well.

Suggestion: Dump all the movies off your queue except for the new releases. You know what I mean, all the movies that you had saved before they were even released to theatre and still show as long wait, very long wait and how old are you really?
