QFlip Netflix Web Application Written in 48 Hours

Network World reports that QFlip was written in 48 hours during the Rails Rumble contest.

Qflip

QFlip is a Netflix hack that enables other people to mess with your queue. I'm not brave enough to try it, but if you do let us know what you think in the comments.

So I decided to try it. It asks you to type in a word to describe a movie. My word was overloaded because I had a Styx song in my head.

It came up with five movies for people to vote on:
1) The Others Bonus Material
2) Lilies of the Field
3) Bernard and the Genie
4) Holiday
5) Mulan Special Edition Bonus Material

Hopefully I don't get one of the bonus material disc because that would really be a waste of a dvd.

Here is the completed results of my poll:
http://www.qflip.net/matches/231/votes

Holiday won and was put at the top of my queue and I am going to end up getting it. You can cancel the poll before it finishes or you can remove the movie that won from your queue if you want to.

I do have problems with the choices since I feel Special Edition discs and DVDs, like Bernard and the Genie, that have not come out yet should not be choices.
