I just want to note that this is a Homebrew application, so you won't see it in the normal app store.
However, precentral (Where the link takes you) has a great guide on getting homebrew on your pre, and it's really simple to do.

Great application which has been updated a few times already and now has a recommendations page as well. I find this application better than QQ, another Netflix app for the Pre.

Are there similar Apps available for the iPod touch/iphone? I am thinking about getting one...

Availability states Free forever on homebrew (beta testing new fixes), will cost in app catalog. So it may end up in the Palm (normal) app store.

Spaceace, a good app for the iphone is iRentMovie. Worth the .99 cents or whatever for it. A free one is PhoneFlicks, but I think iRentMovie is much better and worth the small price to pay.
