Jinni Recommendation Site Launches Public Beta

I've been playing with the beta of Jinni, a movie and TV show recommendation website that integrates nicely with your Netflix account. I'm always looking for new movies and shows to watch, and Jinni takes a different approach, letting you search for movies based on mood or plot. A search for offbeat romantic comedies resulted in the following titles:

If you link your Netflix account to Jinni, you can quickly add a movie to your queue by mousing over a movie and clicking on the Netflix Queue "Add" button, or only search for movies that you can Watch Instantly (and play them right from the Jinni site).

 

Anyone can now sign up for the free Jinni beta, and as part of the launch Jinni will make a donation to the Best Friends Animal Society for each signup.
