In May Netflix posted two test movies, and Netflix just posted another test movie that's 8 hours long, appropriately named Example 8 Hour 23.976. The movie is interesting since many of the scenes were shot around the Netlix HQ building.

My guess is they're checking audio-video sync over long videos.

It reminds me of an Andy Warhol movie - he did one called SLEEP which just points a static camera on someone sleeping for 8 hours.
Wonder if anyone watched the full 8 hours? Could be used for video wallpaper.
