Netflix & Warner Bros. today announced that both companies have expanded the existing streaming partnership to 2011 and have expanded the number of Warner Bros. shows offered on Netflix streaming.
The full series of the following shows will be available on streaming for four years: Nip/Tuck, Pushing Daisies, Veronica Mars, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and more.
"Consumers now have the ability to choose how they enjoy 'Nip/Tuck,' either streamed instantly from Netflix or in a more traditional linear fashion on Logo," said Ken Werner, president, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. "'Veronica,' 'Daisies' and 'Sarah Connor' are all high-quality, critically acclaimed series with passionate fan bases but which have a limited number of episodes, preventing a more traditional syndicated rollout. Netflix can offer the consumer instant access to multiple episodes, creating a viewing experience that is a plus for serialized shows."
Netflix signed a deal with Warner Bros. earlier this year to delay new releases 28 days, and the deal also promised an expanded streaming library from Warner Bros. Hopefully we'll see expanded deals from other Netflix studio partners.
Netflix is definitely moving in the right direction by emphasizing streaming over dvd delivery. Their forward thinking strategies are exactly why they are so successful.

A few weeks back they added a couple of the DC Comics animated movies, keep hoping for Justice League TV series!

When does this take place? Because I can stream Nip/Tuck, except the last 2 episodes of Season 2. Why are there two episodes that are disk only?

@Jane
These "two episodes" may be extra features, not actual episodes. I've run into this with other streaming series. Check out the wiki page for Nip/Tuck season 2.

I've enjoyed watching Pushing Daisies over the last few weeks. I missed out when it was on TV. Very original and entertaining.

I never would have started watching Buffy and Angel if they weren't on instant watch.
And now I can't stop. I barely care about what's in my DVD queue anymore, since that method for delivering content now seems primitive.
The streaming selection just keeps getting better, and has exposed me to content I never would have bothered with otherwise, resulting in some pleasant surprises.
I think we can stop asking if streaming is the future. It's a foregone conclusion that it is.

Yeah, I'm forever indebted to Netflix for giving me the opportunity to stumble upon Buffy and Angel. Consumed me from April-June.
Veronica Mars is next.

Franklyn and Smithcomma, those are great shows. Each season is different, and their endings are pretty good too.
I am watching Angel and True Blood in the same night, and I lose interest during TB and end up surfing or reading, but not for Angel.

@Franklin:
The first two seasons of Veronica Mars are fantastic and you are in for a real treat! I didn't think the third season lived up to the first two, it's still good, just not fantastic.

Slings and Arrows is really good. At first I thought it was a simple comedy, but it quickly gets much better.

I am watching Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles now. Pretty good show. I don't understand why it was cancelled.

When I saw the press release, I decided to give Veronica Mars a try on a whim. Wow, am I glad I did!
I checked out some of the other shows too, and I can see why their fanbases are so passionate.
It's great to see so many more high-quality shows being added to the Watch Now library, and I hope it continues at this pace. I agree completely with SmithCommaJohn, streaming IS the future of video delivery.

Yeah streaming is great, and if the networks were smart they would all join in with netflix and even stream current shows. Wink wink, it would give them an accurate rating on how many people actually watch the shows, and possibly help them either bring new seasons for old shows or can the losers.
As for netflix the next step we need is a streaming playlist so we the viewers can make our own private tv channels

The typical style of the Tory Burch brand of shoes often pays homage to the styles popularized in the 1950's and 1960's for a sophisticatedly modern throw-back, and manages to create an elegant, classic, and yet not overstated look. Tory Burch shoes began her self-named brand in 2004, designing not only chic shoes but also jewelry, handbags, children's swimwear, and women's cardigans.The versatility of Tory Burch sale footwear is definitely one of the biggest perks of buying within the brand; soccer moms and coy businesswomen alike can wear the line and look fabulously fashionable for a reasonable price.
