paidContent reports that Viacom CEO Phillippe Dauman says that the impact of Netflix on Nick shows is "minimal."
At least that’s what Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman thinks, as his company announced a 56 percent rise in first-quarter net income to $585 million Thursday despite a 30 percent ratings drop on its flagship kids channel, as well as some floundering box-office performances by Paramount Pictures films.
Dauman said that the total time spent by viewers watching Nick content on Netflix was only about 2 percent of the time they spent watching shows like Spongebob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer on the cable channel. Any Netflix impact, he said, was “minimal.”
you really think that ceo would say nf is having an impact.

Who gets paid when Netflix licenses Nick shows?
Who gets paid when parents buy DVDs or digital downloads of shows their kids watched on Netflix streaming?
Who gets paid when kids watch a show's latest episode that aren't available on Netflix streaming?
Who gets paid when parents take their kids to see the latest Nick theatrical movie?
Who gets paid when parents buy kids merchandise based on the Nick shows their kids watched on Netflix streaming?
Survey says... Viacom.
Streaming is pure win for the studios.
This isn't rocket surgery.

Many CEOs blame Netflix so regarding m's comment his saying Netflix isn't hurting them is actually a bright spot in an industry of idiocracy. Nick's revenue is up and one must assume licensing fee's from Netflix help.
And I agree the impact isn't huge. People watch new stuff on the network if they like it and revisit it on Netflix if they really liked it.
