Allie, Netflix's director of Content Aquisition, reports that Netflix has added American Horror Story to the US streaming library:
We’re thrilled to bring our US subscribers FX’s hit show, American Horror Story! For those of you not familiar with the critically-acclaimed show, we know you’ll enjoy watching the Harmon family as they move from Boston to Los Angeles seeking relief from their messy pasts, only to find out that they have taken up residence in a house haunted by its former residents. Gripping and scary, this present-day story stars Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Taissa Farmiga, and many others including a performance by Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon, which earned her Golden Globe, SAG, and Emmy awards!
I'm not sure it's the best show to watch with your family on Thanksgiving, so what are you watching today?
I watched American Horror Story before everyone woke up. CREEPY!!!!

Wouldn't it have made more sense to add this BEFORE the new season started?

It doesn't matter that they didn't add it until after season 2 started. Each season is a different story anyway. Nothing from the previous season carries over.

I saw it on the instant section the day it was added and I gasped out loud. I've been watching the second season and am loving it very much and I haven't had the chance to watch the first season. When I found out that the first season was available on Instant, I added it so fast. I'm halfway through the first season and it's great! Very happy it made its way on Netflix Instant. :)
