Netflix Announces DVD Easter Egg Contest

Netflix announced today (PR Newswire) that they are hiding DVD movies in four cities at famous movie locations. The fun will begin in the morning on April 10th in New York's Jefferson Market Park, the Navy Pier in Chicago, the 3rd Street Promenade in Los Angeles, and at Union Square in San Francisco (times vary by location).

Netflix claims that 66% of their subscribers don't know about hidden features in movies. DVD "Easter Eggs" are based on hidden surprises in computer programs . Wikipedia has a bunch of great digital Easter Egg links.
