Netflix Hits 2,093,000 Subscribers
Netflix announced today (press release) that they hit nearly 2.1 million subscribers at the end of Q2 2004, up 82% over last year. More than 97% (over 2 million) are paying subscribers. Household penetration in the San Francisco Bay Area hit 7.6%, and national penetration hit 1.8%. Netflix is continuing to grow at a rapid pace despite a price increase and increasing competition.
Q2 2004 numbers will be released on July 15th at 2pm PST.

I want to know about these non-paying subscribers. Can I volunteer for that status?

Sorry to post an irrelevant comment, but is anybody else having a hard time logging on to the Netflix website? Before coming to Texas to visit my parents, it worked fine when I was in California... wondering if it has anything to do with geographical differences.
Please take a minute to help me out here, I don't want to waste my susbscribing fee if I can't log on to Netflix :P
Thanks.
