The Little App Factory just released the latest version of Netflix Freak for OS X. I downloaded the program and gave it a try (it's shareware, but fully functional for 30 days).
This version uses the Netflix RSS feeds to browse the new movie releases, the Netflix top 100, and the top 25 movies in a variety of genres. This is an excellent example of an interesting way to use the recently released Netflix RSS feeds. Update: Little App Factory confirmed that they are using RSS feeds.
A few of the features I like about Netflix Freak:
Rearrange your queue using drag & drop, shuffle, cut & paste, etc. I am constantly rearranging the top of my queue and I love this feature.
View information on a movie with one click while organizing your queue. Great for when you wonder why you added a movie to your queue or are browsing the 25,000 titles.
Import your entire rental history (I sometimes forget the name of a movie we rented and have to look them up, especially the foreign flicks).
Enable multiple users to share a single subscription (I'm not sure I'll need this, but it's interesting).
Print your queue with or without the DVD cover images. I've recently started sharing queues with people and this is a great way to recommend movies.
I'm pretty impressed so far, but I'm going to play with it a bit more before giving them the $15 registration fee. It's a bit slow updating some of the changes but I do have a rather large number of movies in my queue (280+).
If you use Mac OS X and subscribe to Netflix I highly recommend giving Netflix Freak a spin.
