Rent "Forgotten Silver" if you haven't seen it. A great faux documentary about the birth of New Zealand cinema.


That's not new - I saw that several months ago? Must be one of those great studio rerelease (please buy it AGAIN) efforts.


Yeah, I rented this from Netflix back in 2001.

The current version claims these features, which might not have been on the older version.

"Color and black & white; deleted footage; director's commentary; cast and crew interviews; making-of featurette; photo gallery; FX test shots."

I'm actually fairly surprised since Netflix tends *not* to pick up later special editions and director's cuts.
