Sounds like another article about how couples deal with "who gets what movie next."

When are Netflix users and reporters going to learn that each member of a household can have an individual queue. Nobody should be sharing a single queue...unless they want to have arguments over DVDs.

Pup, MD

We have 4 queues (4-out plan, each queue gets 1 disc at a time):

1) Movies to watch together.
2) TV shows to watch together.
3) TV shows/movies she doesn't mind I watch alone.
4) TV shows/movies I don't mind she watches alone.

Perfect system. No hurt feelings.

Well, except that my wife and I watch pretty much every movie together. Not sharing a queue would pretty much ensure that we would always be in a stalemate over which of the movies at home we should watch.

@Tim
Curious, how does having only one queue ensure you don't have to pick a movie from the movies that you have at home? Unless you are on the 1-out plan, thus removing the choice completely.
