Update: A Netflix representative confirmed the outages as being isolated and sporadic, and said that they are working on a fix.
Netflix is experiencing problems as reported by a number of customers on Twitter. I was able to stream movies on the Roku Player and Windows 7, but experienced problems on Mac computers.
Is anyone else having trouble with Netflix streaming?
Thanks to Joshua for sending this in.
Down for me on my PC. Trying with PS3; will report back with outcome.

Yeah, it's down, but not for everyone. I can't get on, have at least two friends that can. Seems pretty inconsistent.

PS3 reports: "We're unable to connect you to Netflix. Please try again later." @NetflixHelps confirms downtime.

Down for Cincinnati xDSL, I'm assuming, since it won't work on Firefox, Chrome, IE, or Window Media Center or on a MacBook using Firefox and Safari.

I streamed a movie this afternoon. It ended about an hour ago. I didn't notice any problems.
My Roku upgraded to the new 2.8 version today.

Kids are watching Spongebob right now on the 360 but it's moving really slow on the PC and actually seems to be hung at Acquiring content license...
Posted by: Ryan | November 09, 2010 at 06:29 PM
Down for me as well. I just got home and sat down to watch a movie. I noticed a google chrome update so I installed that and went to netflix. It jsut kept getting stuck on acquiring license content so I though it was the update.
I rebooted tried again in Firefox and got the same error as the one at the top of this posting.
