Terry

Not working in Chicago on AppleTV.

d

wuz watching 'the others' & when movie ended nf wouldn't work....

Joseph Fondacaro

They raise their price and then the service is in the toilet.

d

& twice in last week my roku restarted itself & the firmware rolled back??!!

Master EE

Broken in RTP, NC on iPad. And in Tallehassee FL on Roku

Carolyn

not working on Roku. Huntington Beach, CA.
If I go to their site, it says I have no active devices. Roku, Tivo, Wii box all not showing up as activated.

Mike

Working on a PS3 in Rochester, NY.

gir

This sure seems to be happening a lot the past half year or so. Rivals BlackBerry for infrastructure competence.

Brandon

Been watching on PS3 for last hour, no problems.

EbanOnAir

Works well on my Mac and iPhone in France. Too lazy and tired to test on the PS3 and GoogleTV but everything seems to work well :)

Crow550

An outage every once in a great while is annoying but understandable.

Isn't this the second Saturday?

Lame.

Ken

Streaming Sherlock as I type. No problem here.

rjm

Havent tried it yet. Might later.

Thankfully, I have some discs lying around so that I am not dependent on streaming.

I did watch the entire season of Storage Wars on streaming in 2 days early this week.

Il_guru_davinci

Streaming is always out on Saturday nights. Seriously, all you have to do is go back on this site and look at postings from Saturdays and there is always an outage notice.

Either Netflix purposely chooses Saturday night for maintenance or Netflix simply isn't able to accommodate the volume of traffic that is directed to the site on what is probably their busiest night of the week for streaming.

It's a major flaw that will need to be addressed if the company ever wants to seriously dethrone cable or satellite.

eviltimes

No problems in the greater D.C. area. Sorry you guys are having problems, especially on a Saturday night! Bummer.
I'm watching wirelessly from my Linksys router to a LG BD player. It's also working straight thru a hard wired PC. Comcast Cable.

Well, I watched a tv episode on my ps3 and as soon as it finished, I received a message telling me that my device had been deactivated. Instead of selecting the reactivate button, I quit out of the app and restarted it and was able to watch some more. I don't know if it will do the same thing once this title ends...

Edward R Murrow

No wonder Reed wanted the DVD thing back. Rendich gets it done on the DVD's, Hastings can't do his job on the streaming. Simple as that.

Donald Sykes

I'm able to stream on my wii and android tablet here in Savannah, GA

moviegeek

My Sony Blu-ray player has been fine all day, must be a Roku problem.

iWatchRandomShit

buffering problems on ps3 in virginia

Vern Black

PS3 and pc working fine in SC.

I know that Netflix streaming is only down a small percentage of each month, but these outages always happen during prime watching times. When you consider that most people are only available to watch things during evenings and weekends, the percentage of unavailability is much higher. And month-by-month, the number of outages has been increasing.

I love Netflix streaming because when I sit down to watch something, I can choose from thousands of titles instead of just three discs in red envelopes, but the service continues to worsen as the price has risen.

It's now to the point that as I reach for my Roku remote, I've already mentally made plans for back-up entertainment should streaming be down yet again.

Cable may be expensive, but I've experienced only a couple of brief (less than an hour) outages out of the past ten years, so it is reliable. Netflix has become so unreliable, that any thoughts I had about cutting the cord are now gone.

I have had no problems, living on the East coast. I am having problems with my movies staying in order. Half the movies and shows move around after each reboot. Kinda annoying.

Lisa

Our tv was out but our iPad worked....go figure.

BoB

Come on family, let's crowd around the PC or our iPad! Such joy. Where's the popcorn?

Steve Lumley

We primarily watch Netflix using a Roku. We could not watch Netflix last night either - but found a way that worked (did this during last outage, too). We disabled the Netflix on Roku's search, generes, recommendations (whatever that is called). Once we did this we could get in and watch.

Anybody else tried this with success?

john

It's Sunday night and my netflix streaming keeps stopping. Anyone else?

Sean Mccoy

well netflix better do something fast customers are geting tired of thease outages every weekend when its time to lay back and watch a movie

Geekymom

We are having problems tonight. We are using a Roku, but the router is in the room and we get up to 20 Mbps. No problems with any other channels on Roku.

PS3 Streaming has been down for me the past few Saturday nights. However, this Saturday I tried reinstalling the PS3 app and it worked right away. May have been a coincidence that I reinstalled just as they were resolving the problem.

George Klepper

So many netflix should change their name to cheatster. The service is down again for me this will be three nights in a row.
