Ben Pike

I think the larger epiphany is that you use Internet Explorer...

Jasmin Pease

LOL @ Ben! I agree! I used it for years up until a few months ago when I discovered Chrome..I could've slapped myself! :)

S

The science behind 23andMe's Neanderthal analysis is an embarrassment to anthropologists. We have no idea how much Neanderthal is in you and Eric Durand should be ashamed.

Schlock science at its worse. One would hope one of the country's leading CEOs ordered this test as a tongue-in-cheek joke but I am starting to wonder about Reed Hastings...

Josh

By using IE, Hastings keeps losing more and more geek cred.

Byron

He may be 2.4% Neanderthal, however he is also in the 1%.

ScottZ

@Josh,
Reed Hastings is on Microsoft's board, which may have something to do with him using IE.

ScottZ

@Bryon,
He is in the 1% and he believes taxes should be raised for the 1%ers. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/06/opinion/06hastings.html

delbert

what will happen now?

pwrof3

Ugh. The Internet looks pretty much the same no matter which browser one uses. Why does everyone who uses Chrome act like they have some sort of secret to the Internet?
Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari - they all do the same thing, and the speed tests aren't all that drastically different. Hooray, I can load a page .34 seconds faster in Chrome than IE! Give me a break.

ScottZ

@pwrof3
Same Internet yes, but I have enjoyed fast tab-switching in Opera for many years now. Chrome tab switching is on par with Opera, Firefox is noticeably slower and IE is horrendously slower (in tab-switching). Page rendering is pretty similar for the most part.

Ritch

...and 97.6% jacka$$ DNA

Tommy

So Ritch, how have you changed the way the world watches movies?

S

Well at least he's not astroturfing...

Ritch

Tommy, the correct question is "Have you changed the way the world watches movies and then try to mess it all up in a matter of a few short months?". My answer to that is "no".

Ritch

And if you think I'm being too harsh on Mr. Hastings then just check out the front page of CNNMoney.com right now:

Nogo Romsoauce

HAHA HE USES INTERNET EXPLORER

Howard

When is Jimmy Wales going to tell us how Neanderthal he is?
