I'd like to see how ppl from UK and ireland feel about the content available on netflix.

Dee

Pro tip: change your IP to a UK IP and you can access the UK content using your existing US profile. (Not sure that it makes a lot of difference as US content > UK content, but there might be a few titles that arent available in the US that are in the UK.

I dont know if the reverse is true for UK subscribers

I just signed up for this yesterday... I used to live in the States and was always happy with my Netflix service. HOWEVER, it does appear that the library is pretty limited. I would say that I searched for a dozen or so mildly obscure films (which are definitely out on DVD) and only had 4-5 accurate returns. I called them and they claimed that they were still obtaining licenses from studios and the library would be growing and in a constant state of flux over the coming weeks and months. It better grow fast or it will be a rather useless service. Fingers crossed!

if you sign up to uk account you access the us for free using american ip or dns address. This can be done via unblock.us which offer one week free trial. this is really easy to setup, so you can access all of the american and united kingdom content

If you have a good VPN provider you can access the Canadian and Latin American variants also.

Just some things I have been watching the last couple of days that are not available in the U.S.

U.K - The 4400, O' Brother Where Art Thou, Saving Private Ryan

Canada - Community, Rango, The Black Swan

Latin America - Criminal Minds, The Godfather, Disney/Pixar Movies (Different selection than the Starz Deal)

Unfortunately the non U.S. versions do not have a queue.

Now someone just needs to offer a VPN solution that plugs into the Netflix API, displays all content across all territories, then intelligently switches VPN servers according to what you want to watch.

I'd buy it!

Agreed, I'd pay 8 bucks a month for someone that can do that, above and beyond the 8 dollars for netflix.

My wife is loving the disney and pixar movies available in south america.

Their library is sketchy indeed, but you get a one month free trial, which is pretty great.

And by the time your free subscription expires, you will have had enough time to record some pretty great streaming movies from Netflix (lets face it, they do have some really good choices in their library, even though not so recent ones): http://audials.com/en/how_to_record_stream_capture_music_videos_movies_from/netflix.html -> this is a good tutorial btw, on how to do that.
