see what is said here and am amazed at the anger and overall disgust people have for Bryz. Yes he shouldn't have said what he said, but if he would have said nothing this guy would've been pissed off as well. He is the scapegoat for alot of the issues the Flyers do have, but if you read the 1st part of this he did take responsibility for the way he played Saturday

DIRECTV, & NETFLIX merge as one service, will dominate most competition.

FormerNetflixEmploye

Add to that the fact that the USPS will be ending one-day mail turnaround, and the cost of ordering 500,000+ DVDs of each popular title while DVD sales and player sales are falling off of the charts on the consumer electronics end. There are long and short-term cost analysis reasons for everything.

Quick, somebody google Streampix.

They have been saying for a couple of years now that USPS will be doing this and that which will slow service down.

Hasn't happened yet.

If some delay does happen it won't last forever either.

So far it's just been talk. So until it does happen, I wouldn't worry about it.

FormerNetflixEmploye makes some good points, from the NF point of view. If there is a post office slowdown, it'll shove more customers to streaming. But there will still be many of us who want discs. If that's too much of a niche business for Netflix to care about, then why don't they go ahead and sell it off?

FormerNetflixEmploye makes incorrect points, as discussed before on Hacking Netflix, the Postmaster General has already stated that large customers mail will still be delivered overnight when and IF the changes go into effect. Even if the USPS slows down delivery a couple of days I don't care I'm not a heavy user.

"ordering 500,000 DVDs for each popular title." Really?? I never worked for NF and I know they don't order that many discs for any one movie.

Most households still have a DVD player and over 10 Millon have Blu-ray players (DVD information.com).

Despite who says what about what, it's not over til it's over or in this case, dvds are not dead UNTIL they are dead.
